Justices To Decide Stumbo Case

By AP

Frankfort, KY – The Kentucky Supreme Court Friday heard arguments in an offshoot of the paternity case against attorney general Greg Stumbo.
The issue is whether it was proper for Stumbo to file suit in Floyd County against the woman in the case, Travis Fritsch.
She contends the suit should be in Fayette County...that's where she sued Stmbo for child support.
Fritsch's attorney, "Bud" Adams of Louisa, told the Supreme Court that the case had no connection to Floyd County. Stumbo's attorney, Mickey McGuire of Prestonburg, disagreed.
McGuire says Fritsch intended to damage Stumbo's political career in Floyd County. Stumbo represented Floyd County in the Kentucky House at the time. He was elected attorney general last year.
