Kentucky Fugitive Escapes from Ohio Police

Columbus, Ohio – The Ohio Highway Patrol says an armed suspect believed to be an escaped convict from Kentucky got away from troopers last night after a chase on US 23 in north central Ohio. FBI sources have told the Patrol the suspect is 25 year old Chadrick Fulks of Lewisburg, Kentucky.

The Patrol says troopers saw a late model BMW with a West Virginia plate at a Marion, Ohio rest stop around 10:30 last night. The Patrol says a check of the license plate showed the car was stolen and possibly linked to two kidnappings earlier this month in Kentucky and South Carolina. The Patrol says troopers tried to stop the car with road spikes, but it kept going and officers lost sight of it.
