Bowling Green, KY – The Colon Cancer Prevention Project in Kentucky is hoping the General Assembly will provide eight million dollars over the next two years, to help fund colon cancer prevention efforts.Although some improvement has been recorded in recent years, the Bluegrass State still has one of the highest colon cancer fatality rates in the nation.
