Kentucky researchers to test new combination vaccine for infants

Louisville, Ky – Some Kentucky researchers are taking part in a study looking into the effectiveness of a new combination vaccine for children. The University of Louisville Pediatrics Department is participating in the nationwide effort to find out more about a shot that combines vaccines for six different infectious diseases: diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, polio, Hepatitis B, and a form of meningitis.
