Bowling Green, Ky – The ongoing drought in Kentucky and much of the US south and midwest is taking a toll on beef herds. Many farmers are selling cattle, rather than struggle to try to get adequate hay supplies. Dan Modlin recently spoke to David Newsom, assistant manager at the WKU farm in Bowling Green.
