Bowling Green, Ky – The statewide weather monitoring system known as the Kentucky mesonet is expected to expand this year. State climatologist Stuart Foster says 20 mesonet sites are already in operation, adding they've been providing useful information concerning hazardous weather in the commonwealth. Foster spoke with WKU Public Radio's Dan Modlin.
