Somerset, KY – A 55 million dollar expansion has been announced by
officials with the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
The 116 thousand square foot addition will connect
with the east side of the current hospital facility.
The expansion will feature a cardiovascular unit and
a critical care unit for neurosurgical patients. The
addition will also contain an intermediate care unit.
Officials with the Hospital say the groundbreaking
for the expansion is scheduled for October third.
