Louisville Delegation Heads To England

Louisville, KY – A Louisville delegation led by metro mayor Jerry Abramson plans to leave Tuesday on a five day trade mission to Great Britain.
The group will participate in a ceremony making Leeds, England Louisville's eighth sister city. The delegation will encourage British corporations to invest in Louisville and possibly expand to the Kentucky city.
Abramson will speak Friday to about 150 civic leaders at a ceremony in Leeds where the sister city agreement will be signed.
Leeds is in northern England and is similar in size to Louisville and is also a river city.
