Louisville Man Admits Cave City Murder

By AP

Glasgow, KY – In order to avoid a possible death penalty, a 19 year old Louisville man has entered a plea of guilty in a Barren County murder case.
Nathaniel Wright was 18 when Veronica "Bonnie" Rothwell was slain during a November robbery last year of Abner's Gifts and Sports Cards in Cave City.
Two others are also charged in the case. Wright pleaded guilty last Friday to charges of murder, first degree robbery and tampering with physical evidence.
Prosecutors say a sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole for 25 years will be recommended for the murder charge.
Sentences for the other two charges would run concurrently.
