U-S Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky hosted a medals presentation in his Bowling Green office Monday morning, for the family of EM 2nd Class Dallas Fayette Edwards, who was killed in service to his country during World War II. The medals were presented to Edwards's daughter. Several friends and family members attended the medal presentation ceremony.
Senator Paul says its important to recognize the sacrifices of the nation's military veterans. He said this was a situation in which the slain serviceman's family had never received the medals he had earned.
