Memorial Will Be Held For Fort Campbell Soldiers

Fort Campbell, Kentucky – A memorial service is scheduled Friday for two soldiers from Fort Campbell's 101st Airborne Division killed last week during a training exercise in Louisiana.

The two soldiers are 27-year-old Corporal Jason Fisher of Thousand Oaks, California, and 20-year-old Private First Class Joseph Favorito III of Higgins Lake, Michigan. They were run over by a 63 ton tank while participating in urban assault exercises at the Army's Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk.

Both served earlier this year in Afghanistan. The service is at 10:00 am central time at the Post's Soldier's Chapel. It is not open to the public. The accident remains under investigation.
