Million Dollar Pot Operation Busted

Louisville, KY – Three people are charged with having roles in what law enforcement officials describe as a multi-million dollar marijuana business in sothern Kentucky.
The operation allegedly supplied marijuana to clients in Louisville and Indianapolis.
The defendants all pleaded innocent to all charges and face trial in February in Bowling Green. They are Cecil Hune, Jr., a 57 year old ex-Marine from Louisville and his co-defendants...55 year old Gary Bullington of Allen County and 58 year old Trudy Jackson of Louisville.
Federal authorities say the pot growing operation was hidden beneath a barn on a Simpson County farm. The only entrance was an elevator disgusied as a shower stall.
A federal search warrant affidavit alleges the operation took in an estimated five million dollars in three years. That all emded November 9th when federal and state authorities, tipped by a confidential informant, raided the farm.
Authorities say they confiscated nearly 800 marijuana plants with an estimnated street value of $3 million.
