A school bus full of middle school students overturned when it was hit by a car in southwest Louisville Friday morning, but no students were seriously injured. Louisville police says the bus was headed to Frost Middle School around 7:00 am when a Mustang skidded on the wet road and struck the bus at an intersection. There were 48 children on board the bus and all were transported to Louisville hospitals with what were described as "minor injuries."
Michael Raisor, the Jefferson County School District's Director of Operations said the bus driver refused treatment. The passengers in the Mustang were students from a nearby high school.
They were also taken to hospitals with minor injuries.
