Oct 26, 2012

Residents of Monroe county hope Friday is less eventful. Five bomb threats were called in Thursday to area businesses, including three fast food restaurants.

Other targets were the county attorney’s office and Tompkinsville Elementary School. All schools in Monroe county were evacuated and students were transported off-site by buses. All the locations were cleared of any danger, and the investigation continues into who’s responsible for the threats.
