Columbia, KY – The Communities at Oakwood home for mentally retarded adults in Somerset is at risk of closure because of repeated health and safety violations. A major announcement is expected this afternoon concerning the future of Oakwood. Lisa Autry recently spoke with Dr. Daniel Phillips, a professor of Sociology and Criminal Justice at Lindsey Wilson College.
