One Person Shot During Bowling Green Home Invasion

A person was shot during an overnight burglary at a home near downtown Bowling Green.  Around 1:30 a.m. Monday, four males broke into a home in the 1300 block of High Street where six people were staying.

"They told us there were three black males and one white male that came into the residence," said Bowling Green Police Public Information Officer Ronnie Ward.  "They had either bandanas on or masks over their face, something concealing their face."

The robbers kicked in the back door to gain entry and demanded money before leaving the scene in a dark-colored car.  The shooting victim was flown to an area trauma center and his condition is unknown at this time.  At least two other residents received minor injuries.

Police have not determined, what, if anything, was taken from the home.
