Frankfort, KY – Pepsi apparently is now the cola for most of Kentucky state government. The soft drink company has signed a five year deal with the state to replace Coca-Cola as the executive branch's exclusive drink company.
Kentucky's rest stops, state parks and state run cafdeterias will switch over exclusively from Coke to Pepsi.
Under the pact, Pepsi will put Kentucky's "Unbridled Spirit" logo on about 10 million cans sold in the state. pepsi is also supposed to use the slogan as part of tis radio or TV commercials during football and basketball games at UK, U of L and Western Kentucky University.
