With the new year comes a new Sunday night programming lineup on WKU Public Radio. Pipedreams from American Public Media makes its debut Sunday, Jan. 7 at 8pm central/9pm eastern. Hosted by Michael Barone, Pipedreams brings you the art of the pipe organ every week. It is presented on WKU Public Radio by the American Guild of Organists, Evansville Chapter.
At 10 pm central, we take a listen to the Spanish and Latin American contribution to classical music with Concierto, produced out of WDAV in North Carolina and hosted by Frank Dominguez.
Evening with the Pops, the long-running local classical music show hosted by Lee Stott will move to Monday nights at 8c/9e. Also in that time slot, we will offer occasional episodes of WKU Recitals and offerings from local orchestras and symphonies.
