Presidential Debates Light Up Social Media
If the past is any indication, Monday night's final presidential debate will saturate social media. Last week's face-off between President Obama and Mitt Romney generated more than 12 million comments on Facebook and Twitter.
In the past, debate watchers would sit through the entire 90-minute broadcast to hear post-debate analysis from a select group of television pundits. Now, a much wider audience can react long before a debate concludes. As Lisa Autry reports, social media has given rise to armchair pundits.
