Pulaski County Pastor Indicted on Triple Murder Charges

Boyle County Detention Center

A grand jury has formally charged a Pulaski County minister in the shooting deaths of two people at a Danville pawn shop last month.

The indictment returned Monday by a Boyle County grand jury charges Kenneth Allen Keith with three counts of murder, and one count each on first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary.

Keith allegedly shot and killed Michael Hockensmith and his wife Angela, both of Stanford, as well as Daniel Smith of Richmond.  The three were shot inside the ABC Gold Games and More pawn shop in Danville September 20th

The Hockensmiths were owners of the store and Smith was a gold broker.  Court documents show Keith was angry with the Hockensmiths over finances in the days leading up to the shootings.

Keith remains in jail with no bond.  He’s the former pastor of Main Street Baptist Church in Burnside.  His attorney claims Keith wasn’t in the pawn shop the day of the murders.
