Jabez, KY – The body of a Pulaski County man has been recovered from the Russell County section of Lake Cumberland where authorities believe he accidentally drowned.
Water patrol officer Tony Wright says 40 year old Emmanuel Cockerham of Nancy could not swim. He was wading with his sister and some friends Sunday near the Jabez community when he went under.
Cockerham's body was recovered Sunday afternoon. An autopsy is being performed in Frankfort.
