Bowling Green, Ky – A Warren County lawmaker believes more openness would make state government more efficient and hold legislators more accountable. Republican Jim DeCesare is sponsoring House Bill 105, known as the Taxpayer Transparency Act of 2008. It would create a website listing all state spending of $5,000 or more. Lisa Autry spoke to Rep. DeCesare and Jim Waters of the Bluegrass Policy Institute.
