Bowling Green, KY – Bowling Green eye surgeon Rand Paul is making his first run at public office. Paul has made quite a splash, garnering a great deal of national attention as he leads many public opinion polls in the Republican Senate primary election. Paul told our Lisa Autry the greatest threat to the nation is the growing debt level. The Warren County Republican also says he would push for a balanced budget amendment and ban on earmarks if elected to the Senate.
