Remains of Vietnam-Era Soldier Identified

Louisville, KY – The remains of a Kentucky soldier who fought in Vietnam
three decades ago has been found. Specialist
Raymond Bobe will be buried in Russell County this
weekend.

The soldier's father, Henry Bobe, says Raymond and
four other soldiers died March 16th, 1969 when the
U-21 aircraft they were in went down over North Vietnam.
Henry Bobe says he is getting some closure on his
son's death, since the discovery of the remains.

A graveside funeral service with military honors
is scheduled for Saturday
at the Lucenda Cemetary in Russell Springs.
