Rep. Rogers Wants Better Security

Louisville, KY – Kentucky Congressman Hal Rogers says the U. S. needs to do a better job of securing its transportation system.
His comments come after the overseas terrorist attacks that hit the subway and bus system in London Thursday.
Rogers says U. S. security for its transportation system is lax.
Rogers faults the Federal Transportation Security Administration for not coming up with plans to better protects buses, trains and subways.
The Kentucky Republican is chairman of the hOuse Appropriations Committee's Homeland Security subcommittee. He made his comments Thursday from Dublin, Ireland where he's attending a conference on aviation security.
