Late this afternoon and early evening, a broken line of storms is expected to develop across western Kentucky and southern Illinois. This line is then expected to move across the region during the evening hours.
These storms may bring damaging wind gusts as well as frequent lightning and heavy rain. An isolated tornado is also possible. More from the National Weather Service.
