Sign Installation Set To Begin

By AP

Frankfort, KY – As part of Governor Fletcher's goal of a reliable state transportation system, a spokesman says sign installation on various roads throughout the state will begin soon.
Acting transportation secretary Bill Nighbert says Ruth Company of Lexington has been awarded the low bid contract for $171,618 to install 88 road signs.
Work is expected to begin in the near future and once work begins, Nighbert says the contractor anticipates that the project will be completed in 90 working days.
Construction activities are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather conditions.
