Singer-songwriter Barry Manilow may be best known for hit records like "Mandy", but he is currently devoting much of his energy to a program designed to put musical instruments in the schools. Manilow says he learned first hand about the importance of music education when he grew up in Brooklyn.
He spoke with WKU Public Radio Music Director Lee Stott.
