Bowling Green, Ky – The "Cash for Clunkers" program run by the federal government is designed to help motorists trade in their older, gas-guzzling autos for more fuel efficient models. Environmental groups say improving gas mileage is an important step in reducing emissions. But Dan Becker of the Safe Climate Campaign would like to see the government impose tougher standards on the program. Dan Modlin has the second of our two-part series on the Cash for Clunkers program.
