Frankfort, KY – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reports the recent state-wide ice and snow storm cost the state about $7.1 million.
The $7.1 million is broken down into...personnel $2.2 million, equipment $2.6 million and materials $2.3 million.
A spokesman says that since 1994 the cabinet averages spending $22 million dollars each winter for snow and ice removal.
