A tour bus carrying 55 students and parents from Cub Run Elementary School overturned just five miles into its trip to Washington, D.C. last night.
Kentucky State Trooper Jonathan Biven says there were a lot of bumps and bruises but remarkably no serious injuries.
Ambulances from Hart, Barren, Hardin, Larue and Edmonson counties took the passengers to Hardin Memorial, Caverna Memorial or Twin Lakes Regional Hospital as a precaution.
There's no cause yet on what made the bus flip over on highway 728.
The students and parents were beginning a non-school sanctioned trip to washington provided by WorkStrides student travel company.
