Stumbo Wants L-G-&-E Sanctioned

By AP

Frankfort, KY – Kentucky attorney general Greg Stumbo has a sked a Franklin County judge to sanction Louisville Gas and Electric Company.
He claims the utility company has interfered in his office's investigation into the company's recent rate hearing before the Public Service Commission.
Stumbo's office released a statement saying the utility has not cooperated in the ongoing investigation.
The statement says LG&E violated a ruling by Franklin circuit judge Roger Crittenden which ordered the company to bring any disputes with the attorney general to his court.
The statement adds that earlier this month LG&E filed a lawsuit against Stumbo's office in Jefferson circuit court.
The utility was asking the Jefferson circuit court to prevent the attorney general's office from accessing certain records involving the PSC.
