Task Force Addresses Safety at WKU

Bowling Green, KY – Members of a newly-appointed task force at Western Kentucky University are reviewing all aspects of campus safety. University President Gary Ransdell convened the Parents Advisory Council as a result of the murder of WKU freshman Katie Autry.

Authorities say Autry died on May 7th, three days after she was discovered in her dorm room with third and fourth degree burns.

Two suspects in the case, Stephen Soules and Lucas Goodrum of Scottsville, Kentucky are being held without bond in the Warren County Jail.
