Frankfort, KY – Educators and school employees are scheduled to decide their reaction to changes in state health insurance plans at a meeting Friday afternoon in Frankfort. Their exact response remains up in the air.
Among potential options the KEA board may decide is whather teachers and public school employees will plan a one day work stoppage. KEA president Frances Steenbergen says the teachers may opt for a series of protests or nothing at all.
The KEA crisis committee is scheduled to meet, followed by a meeting of the full board later Friday night.
