TeleTech to Create 500 to 700 Jobs in Hopkinsville
TeleTech will invest more than $12 million in a new delivery center in Hopkinsville. State officials say the investment will include a 45,000 square foot facility. Hopkinsville Mayor Dan Kemp says the company has been considering the area for several years, and this week’s announcement is a reflection of the quality of the workforce in Hopkinsville and Christian County.
TeleTech is a global company which currently employs more than 41,000 people.
The company was founded in Denver in 1982, and specializes in customer experience solutions. Earlier this week TeleTech was awarded a major contract by Hyundai Motor America.
To encourage investment and job growth in the Hopkinsville area, the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority gave preliminary approval to the company for tax incentives up to $6 million through the Kentucky Business Investment Program. Governor Beshear says Hopkinsville will reap the benefits of the announcement for years to come.
