Quarterback Brandon Doughty threw two touchdown passes and defensive back Wonderful Terry returned a late interception for a touchdown as WKU topped Navy 36-27 Saturday afternoon in Annapolis, Md.
With the win, WKU's record improved to 2-2 on the season.It marks the second year in a row the Toppers have beaten the Midshipmen.
Terry's interception came with 56 seconds remaining in the game and sealed the win for WKU. It was his first career interception.
Doughty added to his season totals with a 387 passing yard day.
WKU returns to Bowling Green next Saturday for a home game against Alabama-Birmingham.
