Motorists traveling between Henderson and Evansville, Ind., on the U.S. 41 Twin Bridges will encounter some lane restrictions this week. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane on Monday and Tuesday for deck cleaning and maintenance.
The restriction will start at about 8:30 a.m. CDT both days, and the cabinet advises slowing down and being alert for merging traffic on the northbound bridge approach.
The lane restriction should be removed by 3 p.m. each day.
The southbound bridge deck is slated to be cleaned Wednesday and Thursday if a deck patching project is completed as scheduled.
The bridges carry approximately 37,000 vehicles a day across the Ohio River.
