Bowling Green, KY /Louisville, KY – A sixty year old man from Elizabethtown will serve four years in prison for his role in an oil and gas investment scam. Prosecutors say Ernest Cadick fraudulently solicited more than seven hundred thousand dollars from seventeen separate investors, through a company Cadick called Kingdom Oil. U-S Attorney David J. Hale says the fraud involved "a particularly manipulative abuse of trust." Cadick must pay restitution of nearly 720 thousand dollars.
