"Unbridled Spirit" Campaign Going Well

By AP

Frankfort, KY – Governor Fletcher says the state's new "Unbridled Spirit" campaign has turned into a bargain.
Tourism Commissioner Randy Fiveash said the logo is appearing on hundreds of public and private locations. He says a recent study found it to be very recognized in the surrounding states.
Tourism officials say they don't know how much the advertising campaign has cost because the totals haven't been compiled.
Fiveash says ad agency "New West" was intially paid about %500,000. "New West" is the conglomeration of Kentucky and Georgia public relations companies that won the contract last year.
But a report by the Associated Press earlier this year said "New West" received $645,075 from the state for work done from July 2004 to November 2004.
