University Presidential Candidates Visit Morehead State

Morehead, KY – The three finalists in Morehead State University's search for a new president each will visit the campus for two days next month.
Finalists to replace retiring president Ronald Eaglin are G. Edward Hughes of Gateway Community and Technical College in Covington and Peter Hoff, for presdient of the University of Maine. The third finalist is Wayne Andrews, the vice presidebt for administration and chief operating officer at East Tennessee State University
During the visits, Hughes, Hoff and Andrewws will tour the campus, participate in forums with the public and the University's faculty, staff, students, deans and department chairs. They'll also meet with members of the University's Foundation, alumni boards and Board of Regents.
Eaglin became Morehead State's president in July 1992. He announced in January that he's retiriing. He's the longest tenured current president of a public university in Kentucky.
The new president is expected to be announced before the end of the year.
