Upcoming WKU Men's Basketball Highlights Include Trip to Mexico, Game Against Louisville

The upcoming WKU men’s basketball schedule is out, and features road games at Southern Mississippi, Virginia Commonwealth, and Murray State.

The first test of the season for the Hilltoppers will be their first game on November 10th, when they travel to Hattiesburg, Mississippi to play the Southern Miss Golden Eagles.

In November, WKU heads to Cancun, Mexico for an early-season tournament. The Hilltoppers will play Depaul, Iowa, or Wichita State on November 20th, and will then play one of the other two the next day, depending on the first day’s results.

WKU will travel to Murray State on December 16th to play for the 150th time in that in-state series rivalry. And on December 22nd, WKU will play a neutral site game at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville against the Louisville Cardinals, who are coming off a Final Four season and are expected to be a preseason Top 5 team this fall.

WKU’s Sun Belt Conference play includes 20 games, with each team in the league playing a home-and-home with every other team.
