Bowling Green, Ky – As the US war on drugs continues in Latin America, those who raise the crops used to make drugs are adapting to law enforcement. That's the conclusion of a university researcher who specializes in the study of the subject. Dr. William Aviles of the University of Nebraska-Kearney says people in rural areas of Colombia, for example, quickly adapt when authorities try to stop drug production. He spoke to our Dan Modlin.
