Golden Pond, KY – U-S Forest Service officials say a Land Between the Lakes usage plan is going to be released in about four months. They say it will incorporate about 300 written comments received this summer during a 30 day period.
L-B-L officials spent more than a month hosting meetings around the region, giving presentations to more than one thousand people concerned with the area's future.
There were more than 118,000 hits when an on-line version of the plan was presented between March 31st and June 30th. A six person team is processing the comments.
The plan will guide the use of the area for the next ten to fifteen years.
