Week Two Begins in Fort Campbell Court Martial

May 7, 2012

At Fort Campbell, defense attorneys are expected to begin presenting their case Monday in the court-martial of a soldier accused of double murder.  Last week, forensic experts testified that there's no DNA evidence linking Brent Burke to the scene.

The soldier is charged in the deaths of Tracy Burke and her former mother-in-law, Karen Comer, who were found fatally shot at Comer's Rineyville home in 2007.

The Army charged Burke in the shootings after civilian authorities in Hardin County dismissed charges against him due to four mistrials.
