Bowling Green, Kentucky – Western Kentucky University has received a major gift for a new academic-athletic performance center. The anonymous donation of more than $1.5 million was announced Thursday by University President Gary Ransdell. Ransdell says the new facility will be accessible to all twenty intercollegiate programs at Western.
Jack Harbaugh says it's important to note that the facility will include computer labs and study hall space for athletes. The new facility will send a message to recruits that academics are important for student athletes at the institution.
