Western's Public Radio airs Midday newscast from Sept. 11, 2001
Bowling Green, KY – On September 11, 2001, the news staff at Western's Public Radio went on the air with an abbreviated Midday Edition newscast at about 11:45am. Just a few hours earlier, planes had crashed into the World Trade Center towers and the Pentagon. On the fifth anniversary of the attacks, we offer a rebroadcast of that Midday Edition.
