WKPB 89.5 FM Back On The Air Tuesday Afternoon
Update Tuesday, 3:20pm C.T.: WKPB-FM is now back on the air following the replacement of electronic components that failed on Sunday. There may be some intermittent signal interference for a day or two while everything is fine-tuned. The onset of windy, icy weather is delaying progress this afternoon.

Update Tuesday, 12:55 pm: Our WKPB site engineer has the necessary components to fix the transmitter and is on his way there. We hope to have 89.5 FM back on the air later this afternoon. Thank you for your patience!
Update Monday, 2:00pm C.T.: Components that failed at the transmitter cannot be repaired and will have to be replaced. New parts will be on site Tuesday morning, and we expect the signal to be back up by Tuesday afternoon.
Update Monday at 8:30am C.T.: Our engineers are working to finish repairs following a major failure Sunday of some equipment at the transmitter site. We anticipate the signal will be off the air for an extended period
Original post: There have been some equipment problems at the WKPB 89.5FM transmitter. Our engineers are working to sort things out, but you may experience some signal outages while we work to restore full power.
