WKU Defensive Coordinator Must Give Money to Charity

By Dan Modlin/AP

Bowling Green, KY – For several days, the public was not informed about what disciplinary action Coach Guidry would face, after his recent arrest for drunken driving. However, a letter to Guidry from WKU Athletics Director Ross Bjork and Head Football Coach Willie Taggart has now been made available. The letter also says Guidry must complete counseling and is under a "zero tolerance" policy. Guidry was arrested while the Hilltoppers were in Baton Rouge to face the Louisiana State football team. The $4,500 figure represents one month's net pay for Guidry, according officials with the WKU Athletics Department. The Defensive Coordinator will also lose use of a vehicle leased by the University.
