Bowling Green, Ky – US leaders recently have openly called on European countries to send more fighting troops to southern Afghanistan, where the toughest Taliban-related fighting is taking place. WKU Political Science Professor Roger Murphy says the US and Europe have differing views over what role NATO forces should be playing in Afghanistan. He spoke with our Kevin Willis.
