WKU has big role in new US cyber defense project

Bowling Green, Ky – WKU is partnering with a group of other universities and organizations to create a new cyber defense program. At the WKU Cyber Defense Lab, faculty and students are studying the ways computers react to certain virus attacks. Cyber defense is a growing concern for many in the areas of homeland security, the military, and computer network service providers. Our interview guest is Dr. Phillip Womble, diretor of the WKU Applied Physics Institute.
